Gates U Pick Come out to Gates U-Pick this fall to enjoy some valley apple, pear, pumpkin, and sunflower picking as well as free wagon rides and more!

The upick will open on Sept 1 and will be open EVERY day, including holidays, from 9:30 to 5:30 until the end of October.

There is a great crop of pears and apples. Pears ready now and there is always an apple variety ready to pick!

Pumpkins, sunflowers and drop apples will be available later in the season.

Upick prices are 10 pounds for $10 or 3 pounds for $5. We accept cash or e-transfer.

There is no admission charge.

On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, we have FREE wagon ride orchard tours from about 11am -4pm.

Pets are welcome on leases.

It is May 21 and the blossoms are spectacular right now. Spring’s promise of apples to come this fall! We just need the bees and birds hard at work pollinating. Come take a walk through the orchard and experience how magnificent the blossoms look and smell.

The U-Pick is Now Closed for the Season.

The U-Pick season is always a special time for us—filled with positive, pleasant, and genuinely kind people. We hope you’ve felt welcome to slow down, relax, and enjoy wandering the orchard while picking your favorite apples, pears, sunflowers, and pumpkins.

It's a great day to upick at Gates Upick, Starr’s Point Road Port Williams, NS!!

Best picking now is Cortlands, Macs and may other varieties ready in the orchard. Upick prices are 10 pounds for $10 or 3 pounds for $5. We have pre-picked honeycrisp apples at the stand, 5 pound for $10 dollars. The pick sunflowers are stunning, 6 stems for 2 dollars.

The upick is open EVERY day, including holidays, from 9:30 to 5:30 until the end of October. There is no admission charge. Another beautiful day to Upick at Gates upick!!!

Congratulations farmer Doug on the birth of his newest granddaughter…number 3! Maeve Marilyn Clark, born to daughter Johanna on September 8. Three weeks early weighing 6lbs, 4 ounces. Baby and moma are doing great! We are all in love with her already!!!
