We want to thank all of our wonderful customers for another great U-Pick season! Whether it was your very first visit or you’ve been coming to Gates U-Pick for over 20 years, we truly appreciate your continued support.
The U-Pick season is always a special time for us—filled with positive, pleasant, and genuinely kind people. We hope you’ve felt welcome to slow down, relax, and enjoy wandering the orchard while picking your favorite apples, pears, sunflowers, and pumpkins.

It's a great day to upick at Gates Upick, Starr’s Point Road Port Williams, NS!!

Best picking now is Cortlands, Macs and may other varieties ready in the orchard. Upick prices are 10 pounds for $10 or 3 pounds for $5. We have pre-picked honeycrisp apples at the stand, 5 pound for $10 dollars. The pick sunflowers are stunning, 6 stems for 2 dollars.

The upick is open EVERY day, including holidays, from 9:30 to 5:30 until the end of October. There is no admission charge. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, we have FREE wagon ride orchard tours from about 11am -4pm.

Pets are welcome on leases. We accept cash or e-transfer. If you would like to book a bin of drop apples or a large group tour, please message and we will get back to you in the next few days. Hope to see you at the upick!

The upick is open EVERY day, including holidays, from 9:30 to 5:30 until the end of October. There is no admission charge. Another beautiful day to Upick at Gates upick!!!

Congratulations farmer Doug on the birth of his newest granddaughter…number 3! Maeve Marilyn Clark, born to daughter Johanna on September 8. Three weeks early weighing 6lbs, 4 ounces. Baby and moma are doing great! We are all in love with her already!!!

Gates Upick is now open! Pears are ready and there is always an apple to upick from now until we close. Best apple for picking right now is Zestar.
