Friday evenings at Planters Ridge are made for lingering a little longer. Join us for Happy Hour and take in the peaceful vineyard views as the sun begins to set over the Annapolis Valley.

Whether you're enjoying a tasting flight, a glass of your favourite wine, or a bite from our kitchen, there's no better way to ease into the weekend.

We're open until 7pm every Friday throughout the summer.

Summer has arrived in Nova Scotia wine country.

The vines are stretching toward the sun, the patio is waiting, and there’s something special about lingering a little longer over a glass of wine as the evening light settles across the vineyard.

Join us for a wine flight, lunch with friends, or Friday Happy Hour and take in some of the most beautiful views in the Annapolis Valley.

We're now open daily from 11am–6pm, with Happy Hour every Friday from 4–7pm.

Because some moments are best enjoyed slowly.

Every vintage has a beginning.

This morning in the vineyard, tiny grape clusters are already emerging as the vines continue their rapid spring growth.

While harvest may still be months away, this is one of the most exciting times of the year. The foundation of the 2026 vintage is being built right now, one shoot and one cluster at a time.

The vineyard is looking healthy, vigorous, and full of promise, and we can't wait to see how the season unfolds.

Rainy spring days call for cozy corners, good company, and something delicious. ☔️🍷

Our new food menu has arrived in the tasting room, including this Margherita Grilled Cheese Panini with smoked scamorza, fresh basil, confit tomatoes, and garlic scape sauce, served with house pickles.

Pair it with a glass of wine, settle in by the vineyard views, and stay awhile. Or bring a great book and enjoy a quiet afternoon escape.

A reminder that afternoons with good wine and good company probably belong on the calendar more often.

Some exciting news from Planters Ridge 🍷

We’re proud to share that our Quintessence Red has been selected for The Wine Merchant Top 100 for 2026.

Entries reached record levels this year, with wines evaluated through blind tastings by 40 independent UK wine merchants. To see a Nova Scotia wine included among this year’s Top 100 selections is something we’re incredibly proud of.

This recognition reflects years of work in the vineyard and winery, and we’re grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way.

We’re excited to be part of 12 Tides, the official launch of the 2025 Tidal Bay vintage with Wines of Nova Scotia.

Join us at Pier 21 in Halifax for an evening celebrating Nova Scotia wine, local food, live music, oysters, and the incredible community behind our province’s wine industry.

Your ticket includes tastings from 16 Nova Scotia farm wineries, including our newest Tidal Bay vintage, plus delicious local pairings and interactive experiences throughout the evening.
