KALE SLAW
with HAZELNUT dressing 🥬

One of our customers shared this amazingly delicious and healthy recipe! Enjoy!

2 bunches of kale (ribs removed), finely chopped

1 red pepper, thinly sliced

2 carrots, thinly sliced

Dressing: Puree till smooth (add water to thin it)

½ cup grape seed oil

¼ cup cider vinegar

¼ cup raw hazelnuts (chop roughly before putting in the blender)

2 tbsp raw sugar (I substituted maple syrup )

½ tsp sea salt

Toss the dressing with the kale and let mellow all day in the fridge or overnight, then add the peppers and carrots before serving.

From a Favorita Farm customer….this recipe is next level! Please send me your favourite Hazelnut recipe and I will be happy to post it on our website.
The recipe:

Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies

1 1/2 cups flour. 2 cups Nutella

2 eggs. 1 cup chop hazelnuts

Mix eggs with Nutella until blended well.
Add in hazelnuts, mix
Add flour 3/4 cup at a time.
Roll into tsp size balls and press gently onto a parchment lined cookie sheet.
Optional : finish with flaked salt

Bake 350* for 10 mins and remove from pans.

Makes 3 1/2 dozen
