We are coming to your town to deliver colony products once again on April 25th! As most of you already know…most products come from Peace Country Colony near Dawson Creek, BC, where the livestock is fed homegrown grains grown on the colony that are not GMO or sprayed. Chickens are free run. Meat is processed on site in a state of the art, humane, and government inspected facility. The colony is certified hormone/antibiotic free. The honey is our very own Blue Mountain Honey from the heart of British Columbia in Vanderhoof. Our bee yards are situated in clover/alfalfa fields and our honey is light in color and delicious! Here’s our plan:
Gibsons - IGA - Thursday evening the 24th (TBA depending on ferry schedule)
Sechelt - Starbucks parking lot - 8am Friday the 25th
Powell River - Evangel Church parking lot - 3:30-5:30pm, Friday the 25th
Here’s what available this time around: (sorry…no cornish hens or turkeys)
Products/prices:
Chickens. $4.80/lb
(individually wrapped, 5 in a bag, bags weigh between 25 to 40lbs - that would be chickens averaging 5 to 8 pounds - you can specify if you’d like larger or smaller)
1/2 pork (About 100 pounds @ $4.60/lb)
(A variety of cuts including ham, bacon, roasts, sausage, steaks, ribs and chops but I cannot guarantee exactly how they pack the boxes)
*The above may vary as each pig/side does…and please note that butcher weight is “on the rail” so you can expect a bit less after cut and wrap*
The following work out to $8/lb and come in a 10lb box:
Pork Breakfast Sausage = $80.00
Pork Chops = $80.00
Pork Steaks = $80.00
Please know pork is unlimited supply and will be cut off shortly.
We will also have 1 pound grab and go packs of farmer sausage, summer sausage, smokies, and hotdogs. (vacuum sealed) $14 each (these are not ordered, but on a first come first serve basis)

Honey by the pail:
3kg - $50
5kg - $70
7kg - $90
15kg - $195

Due to technology not always being reliable and or human error, PLEASE ensure you get a personal confirmation reply from us that we have taken your order or I cannot guarantee I will have what you want. If there is a problem with your pick up on day of, please call or text (text is best as we'll be juggling customer pick ups) Sheldon at 250 567-7586 or Kim at 250 567-1340 to make other arrangements. Payment is accepted by cash (we have change if needed) or cheque and we do not know your total until pick up as it will depend on the weight of your products(chickens and pork weight are written on each package).
