Picnicking is one of my favorite pastimes. For me, a picnic on a sunny, breezy summer day brings to mind a simpler, unhurried time spent with loved ones. While vacationing in Newfoundland last summer, my husband and I experienced the unique process of pre-ordering our picnics, while enroute, and picking them up at a spectacular lighthouse destination. I had an ah-ah moment realizing this would be equally appealing in and around our beautiful town of Prescott with its very own breathtaking views of the mighty St. Lawrence River. I am finally taking a leap of faith and decided to combine my love of baking and feeding people with my favorite pastime of picnicking.
