I’m very delayed on introducing the second newest addition to the farm, so after swearing for six years that we’d never get another goat - everyone, meet Steve.

Government name: Scuba Steve
Nickname: Steven

As a very important note, Steve was named after the nice man we got him from; said nice man Steve does not know we did this. Surprise, Steve - he’s doing great!

Steven’s introduction was delayed because he’s incredibly hard to photograph given that he is literaaaaaaally attached to my hip. Velcro dog doesn’t even begin to describe it. He’s the poster child for whatever the opposite of social distancing is.

He’s very lovely, although not as quick as Jerry, he’s definitely becoming part of the herd (as long as there’s no human in sight).

Everyone, this is Jerry. Jerry, this is everyone.

Jerry is a GIRL because you can spell names however you want and most importantly the llamas/alpacas must have J names.

And not only is she a girl, but if everything worked out her next title will be mom.

Jerry has settled in eerily well. Within a minute of meeting her it was obvious that she was cooler than me and I’m struggling with that.

We’re confident she will be the new matriarch but she’s not going to fight for them to support her, it will happen naturally and maybe every single politician that has ever existed could learn a thing or two from Jerry.

I think she’s happy to be here? But in like a “this will do” type of way. I’m sure it’s fine.

Jerry arrived at the farm with another friend who will be introduced in due time.
