In a world of global logistics we are looking to create stronger trade links between primarily the resource based industries of Northern BC and the tropical island economy of Mindanao. We feel that if we could utilize the the booming container port facilities at Northern BC's Port of Prince Rupert, which is the closest container port in North America to Asia, then the idea is to utilize the empty
back-haul containers to China making a stop in the Mindanao Port of Davao to off load forestry based products... the containers could then continue on to China with agricultural products for export to China. Elcamada Corporation would like to build partnerships between suppliers in Davao for Mindanao Island with the importation of forestry based products from the industrial producers in Canada. We would like to help to facilitate the growing logistics of this trade by specializing in shipping options, import export regulations, shipping insurance, translation services, and warehousing in Davao for a one stop shop for forestry products from Canada. We would like to build mutually beneficial partnerships with all stakeholders in this trade relationship, so as to grow our opportunities together to the benefit of all. Elcamada Corporation would also like to have a responsibility in that we would like to promote the carbon trading solutions through areas such as importing cooking charcoal from forests that have already died from the pine beetle infestation... rather than using valuable living trees in Mindanao for this purpose. Elcamada Corporation feels this trade could be subsidized through the carbon trading market to help to assist Canadian exports to Mindanao through carbon credits purchased by the major industrial organizations in Northern BC looking to grow their export market. Elcamada Corporation will also like to be a community partner in helping to fund low cost housing and other charitable causes with 20% of all its profits (as well as requested donations from our suppliers). In this we could promote Canadian building materials while helping to lift up some disadvantaged and upwardly mobile people that would appreciate the efforts and hopefully become ambassadors of goodwill towards further strengthening this growing trade relationship at the people to people level in the local markets we would be doing business in. Elcamada Corporation is a project created between Chad Bester of Prince George British Columbia, and Grace Adana of Davao City.
