Northern Lights Estate Winery is a fruit Winery located on the banks of the Nechako River in Prince George only 5 minutes from Downtown Prince George. The winery specializes in fruit wines made from berries and tree fruits such as apricot, strawberry, rhubarb, apple, blueberry, black currant,
haskap, raspberry, and saskatoon. The winery uses new winemaking techniques to make balanced wines that are fruit forward and high quality for both table wine and sipping wine. Sustainable farming practices are at the heart of the team. Northern Lights orchard is moving towards becoming Herbicide and pesticide free with a goal of achieving organic certification down the road. To supplement fruit production we are working with other orchards around the region to provide additional production and will introduce a program to take local fruits later in the summer. The winery also features a picnic area with picnic endorsement that allows guests to purchase wine from the winery and enjoy it on the grounds. Other services that will be available include an outdoor amphitheater that can host weddings and concerts for 200 guests. public tours which will be available weekly, private tours for groups over 10, and wine tasting in the wine shop. We look forward to serving Prince George as well as tourists in the area.
