LIVE Music at Wheelhouse!

Get ready to dance, Prince Rupert!

The mysterious back-alley milongas (dance halls) of Buenos Aires fuse with the lush tones of Canada’s Wetzinkwa watershed to create the sonic palette of Los Gringos Salvajes.

Fronted by Argentine songwriter Facundo Gastiazoro, the band features vibrant percussion, accordion, bass, lap-steel guitar, and horns.

Together, they craft sultry, evocative tunes that are at times melancholic, often irresistibly rhythmic, and deeply rooted in Argentine traditions yet boldly unique to this time and place. Prepare to cumbia, prepare to tango — or simply surrender to the dance.

Gyetk brings together recipes, stories, flavours, and teachings from the Ts’msyen people- celebrating the connections between food, land, culture, community, and memory. This book is more than a collection of recipes, it is an invitation to gather around the table, share knowledge, and honour the traditions that continue to nourish us.
