Ti Cotton Farm We are just a small Acadian family homesteading in Southwest Nova Scotia. We garden, raise some animals, forage, and do other crafts/projects.

We show respect for nature by prioritizing sustainability, reducing waste, and using local/natural ingredients.

What a great year for plums! We are very thankful. ✨✨👌

This was after multiple harvests of plums earlier in the year, they are now passed. There were so many plums that some of the branches weren't visible.

This year we were blown away by the number and size of our plums. We have pounds of frozen plums, made jam and plum butter, and ate our fill of fresh plums. The season is over but we are thankful for how much we got!

Next to the plum jam/butter is some of the zucchini relish we made (22 jars in all).

The sheep need to be sheared every year. This helps them stay cool in the summer and we get to check them for any skin issues.

The dogs help round them up, they get sheared, and we keep the wool to sell and use.

Some of the kids have arrived ! They were born yesterday on Easter Sunday. The doe and two kids that made it were all doing well this morning! 🐐
