We have had a very busy week of sour cherries and they are now fully picked. We are finishing up our last Saskatoon berry appointments tomorrow, August 1st, and then we will be closed. We will be sure to update if the raspberries decide to ripen and become ready for picking but they still seem to be weeks away.

With the heat this weekend the sour cherries are ready for picking. The saskatoons continue to be plentiful but you'll need to walk to get them. The sour cherries will be limited so be sure to be sure to get your pails early. We will be open until Wednesday, July 29th, 8am to 8pm and then after that we will be open by appointment only depending on conditions. U-pick $10 / 4L ice cream pail.

We are entering our last weekend of Saskatoon berry picking. There continues to be plenty of berries to pick however it is taking a bit longer to fill the pails. The weather is expected to be very hot so please plan your picking time accordingly. We will be open from 8am to 8pm every day this weekend, u-pick is $10 / 4L ice cream pail, please bring your own containers.

The sour cherries are still not available yet but we will be sure to update when they are ready. On a related note, there won't be as many cherries this year as in years past, as the trees haven't produced the same output. We will also update on our raspberries, which still seem to be weeks away from ripening.

Saskatoon berries are quickly ripening and we are looking forward to our opening day, Saturday July 18. New this year, on our opening day, is a local soft serve ice cream truck Chillin' Like A Villain Soft Serve. They will be onsite Saturday selling soft serve ice cream and hot dogs. Be sure to add your freshly picked berries on your ice cream.
U-pick Reminder: we will be open 8am to 8pm, upick $10 / 4L pail, bring your own containers, cash or e-transfer.

Opening date for saskatoon berry picking is July 18th. Hours are 8am to 8pm daily and no appointment is required. Price is $10 per 4L ice cream pail upick. You must bring your own containers that say the volume of they will be weighed and charged $2 per pound. Goggle maps Ol Mill Berries for directions. Cash or etransfer only. Will update later on sour cherries and raspberries.

It’s time to post a spring update on how the berries are looking this year. If the weather cooperates we will be open for picking Saskatoons around July 18th. Saskatoon production is not looking as great as last year so it may take a little longer to fill you pail. We will be sure to post closer to that day as the crop ripens. Picking sour cherries will follow as well as raspberries which will be even later. If we end up having strawberries, it will be in early July.
