Well said 💛 Thank you for a great season!

We have so many thank you's to extend this year!!

Thanks to - - -
- - our amazing vendors who brave all the elements in the summer and then brave the elements again in the winter.
- - to our market coordinator, Shannon Noelle Mcginty (frequently the first and last person onsite) and our amazing troupe of market helpers - Kelly, Chevonne, and Kassia
- - BUT the hugest of thank you's go to our community - without which our farmers market would be without purpose. Our community continues to show up for us - in the summer, week after week, and in the winter for a short but good time.

We appreciate you and because of you, local sustainable agriculture is a real thing in the Quesnel region. Words cannot express how important that is and how awesome it is that in Quesnel agriculture is seen and supported as being important.

I know many of the artisans, farmers and ranchers are taking a few weeks to catch their breath (except the bakers - those guys work 24/7 year round!!) and look at catalogues - (all the usual catalogues - tools, seed, poultry, livestock) and will be back at it in the new year.

So, until next year, stay safe and thank you so much!!

We’ll be at the Quesnel Arts and Rec Centre again tomorrow, Saturday Dec 6th from 10:00-3:00 for the Winter Market. We’re brining along a selection of festive wreaths to get you in the Christmas spirit! Come check out the wide variety of local vendors!

My beautiful wreath from Sundown Valley Farm right here in Bouchie lake.
Marie does such a gorgeous job with these mixed species hand tied wreaths. They are generously fluffy and decorated with 100% natural elements, perfect for a natural girlie like me 😁
They smell amazing and are the perfect way to celebrate the season.
She will have them available this weekend at the Quesnel Farmers Market you should come grab one ❤️

Exciting news! You can now find a selection of Sundown Valley Farm wreaths at 53 North Butcher Shop! Located on Pinnacles Rd in Quesnel, they carry an amazing selection of local food and goodies. Check out all that they have to offer, and browse our wreaths while you’re there!

This weekend, we got our tulips tucked into their winter beds. Each one is placed, by hand, like eggs in an egg carton, then buried under six inches of protective soil to wait for the warm spring weather. 🌷 With any luck, we’ll have an abundance of blooms come springtime!
