Eric Proulx | Underground Mine Captain, Black Fox Mine. 🇨🇦
I began my journey in the mining industry at 18 years old in my home town of Timmins, Ontario.
Over the years mining has provided me with great opportunities. I had the chance to travel the world as I was working at the Rio Tinto mine in Mongolia and then for Katanga Mining in the DRC of Africa. Upon returning to Canada I stepped foot onto Black Fox site and never left. I’m working on the 12th year now and am looking forward to many more in the future.
I’m a proud husband and father of 4 daughters and one son. When I’m not at the mine I can be found working my farm where I raise cattle, grow crops and teach my kids this wonderful way of life.
