Did you know we offer DIY Buckets of Blooms?

These are a selection of what is fresh and seasonally available on the farm. They are hand-picked to include focal, filler and foliage for making your own arrangements.

They are perfect for so many things:
🌺 DIY Bridal flowers/centrepieces
🌺 girls night - think a little wine, a little music, and a few of your closest making an arrangement they can take home
🌺 baby showers or bridal showers
🌺 whatever you want to make of it!

Each bucket comes with 40-50 stems, enough to make 2-3 bouquets.

Due to some personal reasons and a knee injury I hadn’t been out in the field for some time! But sometimes it’s best to step away and let the garden do its thing. Minus some weeds which I was able to bend over for and attend to yesterday, the garden is starting to settle in, and I am hopeful that the heat and watering well do will help blooms pump out soon! Thanks for your patience. With all the rain this year, what looked to be an early bloom season actually got set back quite a bit. I think it is nature telling me to invest in more perennials!

💐MOTHER’S DAY💐 a special project with your support

1 in 4 pregnancies end in some kind of loss. For myself, I became part of that statistic in December. Those who have been through it know that this loss marks you forever.

As Mother’s Day is approaching in a month, I was looking for a way to bring light to a day that I know will be hard for myself and other loss moms. To that end, I am inviting you to be part of a push for support of women and families experiencing this loss. I will be collecting donations via my website and matching them 100%, as well as taking 10% of subscription sales, and donating them to PILSC (Pregnancy, Infant and Child Loss Centre) in Calgary, which supports all of Alberta.

Not a sponsored post, but just sharing something I’ve used for a long time and would recommend - food for my indoor houseplants! I wish this stuff came in gallons (I may have too many house plants)! It is a kelp concentrate you mix with your water to boost up your plants! I have been using it for almost two years, and here are some things my plants and I love: supports them through the dark winter months, encourages lots of new growth and blooms (I’ve seen some plants bloom using this that I’ve never seen before!), not smelly (IYKYK), and easy to use. Would definitely recommend if this spring weather is making you want to give your houseplants a little more TLC.
