Happy Monday morning everyone!

I just wanted to let you all know about a scam that is going around. If you receive an email from the Red Deer Rebels asking you to be a vendor or food truck at the home games do not reply. I have confirmed with the Rebels directly and they are aware that this is going on but are unable to stop it. There has been dozens of people contacted and several have actually lost money.

One of the questions we get asked frequently at the markets is, “Do you have pickled eggs?” 🥚

Unfortunately, the answer is no—and I want to tell you why.

As much as I LOVE pickled eggs, we don’t make or sell them because there isn’t an approved canning method that makes pickled eggs shelf-stable at room temperature. We do have a commercial kitchen and we have an AHS permit but we do not carry a refrigerator with us.

Eggs are a low-acid food, so proper food-safety controls are especially important.

There are a lot of rules and regulations when it comes to preserving and selling food, and I’m not willing to cut corners or use an unapproved process just to add another product to our lineup. Your safety will always come before sales. ❤️

The good news is, we have so many other delicious products for you to enjoy! We’re constantly testing new recipes and working on exciting things to bring to the markets.

You can feel confident that when you purchase from us, we’re putting safety, quality, and great taste first.

We love our customers way too much to take unnecessary risks—we want to keep you around! 😄❤️
