Showing up to work today and I was so amazed at the sights, sounds and smells of wascana park! If you feel like lunch today, come see us, if it’s too cold for our patio, take in a car picnic and we will package up everything you need! You can park at the lake or at the queens garden, a great way to spend your lunch hour!

Important update about tomorrow! We will have to delay our opening a bit, my hope is we will be up and running and serving you food by 9am. Apparently because we had a new water heater installed here at the clubhouse, I can’t open until someone from public health comes and sticks their finger under the tap to make sure it’s hot. Stay tuned!!

And here it is week one’s menu! In addition the grab and go cooler will be full of salads and sandwiches, and breakfast items! Our drinks menu will satisfy all of your caffeine needs, and our smoothie of the week is banana strawberry and chia. See you soon! We will be open til Friday, 7am-2pm

I have some news! Daisy’s Pantry restaurant will be re-opening at the lakeshore tennis club clubhouse! We will open on the 19th of May, our hours will be 7-2. We will offer a light breakfast, a hearty homemade soup/salad/hot sandwich and we will have a stuffed grab and go cooler.

We will also have an amazing drinks menu, from smoothies, lemonades and espresso based hot and cold drinks.

The club has seating outside for about 20 on the deck, and inside for about 12. But there are amazing picnic sites all around the park!

I can’t wait to see you all!

This is special! A burrata Italian sandwich with Parmesan cheese, prosciutto, salami, arugula, vinaigrette and a hunk of creamy burrata, all served on a saltine baguette!

Served at takeaway gourmet from 11-3.
