Happy Labour Day!

We're open regular summer hours this weekend. Open 12-9PM Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.

However, Tuesday marks the official end of our summer hours. To mark the occasion, the Frying Deutschmann food truck will be here from 4:30-8:30PM. All beers to stay will be just $5. Beer and Bratwurst! Sips and Schnitzel! Pints and Perogies!

This Tuesday marks the final day of our summer hours. Effective Sep 9th, we'll be closed every Monday and Tuesday and closed early at 5PM on Sundays.

1. Kristy is the current zucchini champ with a 13lb, 10oz zucchemoth! Beat the previous entry by less than 5 ounces! If you think you have challenger, you have until Sep 27th to bring it down to the bar for weigh in.

2. With less than a week left in the Hottest Hand of the Summer contest, Angela B. remains on top with an amazing 28 point hand!

3. Yee ha! Do-si-do a couple blocks over to the Senior Centre on Saturday September 12th for the Heritage Community Association's 50th Anniversary and Square Dance. 7-9:30PM. $10.

4. Summer is almost over. To celebrate (?), come on down Tuesday Sep 8th for our last day of summer hours. All pints to stay will be $5!

Effective September 9th, we will be on winter hours: closed at 5PM on Sundays and closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

All coils and mechanisms function, accepts nickels to toonies, has original owners manual, there's only 1 key for the lock.

It's treated us well over the years but we're looking to replace it with a newer model with a credit card acceptor. The plan is to set aside a couple of rows for local artists/makers and sell some things in the $20-50. It's not really feasible to plug that many coins.

If you're a local maker (or know one that might be interested) we'll be looking for folks to fill slots in about a month. We'll be charging a commission of some sort to cover credit card fees, sales tax, and the cost of the new machine.
