“The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I had a bagel sandwich and some cookies. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The matcha cookie was the best I’ve ever had, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!”

Your Gold Membership can help create a pathway to employment for a young person. 💛
We’re excited to share that we now have 2 Gold Members at the Safe Café—which means we can fund a 10-month internship through SCP’s Opportunity Youth Program.

That’s 10 months for a young person to:
✨ Build real-world skills
✨ Gain meaningful work experience
✨ Build confidence and stability
✨ Develop the skills they need to take their next step

For youth facing barriers to employment, a stable opportunity to learn, work, and grow can make a meaningful difference.

Gold Membership directly contributes to the wages of youth participating in these 10-month internships. Program delivery and support are funded separately by SCP, allowing your membership to directly help create employment opportunities for youth.

Your next evening meeting, small gathering, or event deserves the right space. The Safe Café has you covered. After-hours rentals are now available weekdays and weekends, accommodating up to 40 guests.

We also have our catering for a fully curated experience, with options for various dietary needs.

All proceeds support underserved youth through Street Culture Project’s Youth Opportunity Program. This program supports youth ages 16–29 through paid work experience, job coaching, counselling, and career planning — helping them build confidence, stability, and the skills needed for long-term success.
