Potted up a bunch of baby pansies today - these are Antique Laeta. They don't produce very much seed (and it's tricky to collect), so I started many, many more this year. Plus a bunch of new to me varieties. Can't wait for the blooms!

If you are parking your car on campus on Saturday for Seedy Saturday, please know that parking is free. But some rules still apply:

👉🏼2 hour/30 minute time limited parking areas are in effect at all times ( don’t park for over the time limit)

👉🏼Accessible parking areas are enforced at all times and require a valid SaskAbilities permit displayed.

👉🏼Vehicle's license plate must be visible to the immediate driving lane at all times. (applies to lots)

👉🏼Parkades require payment or a permit at all times.

Nearest parking is on lot 2, just across the road from our venue. If parking lot 2 is full, you can park on lot 17 and 16 (these normally require e-permit but not on weekends)

If you are planning on attending the Regina Seedy Saturday or Indian Head Seedy Sunday events, I will be there too!

You can find me at:
Regina Seedy Saturday - March 6 from 10 AM to 3 PM in the Multipurpose Room at the Riddell Centre, U of R
Indian Head Seedy Sunday - March 15 from 1 to 4 PM in the Memorial Hall

I won't be able to bring my entire seed collection to the events, so if there's something specific you'd like, you're welcome to order ahead on my website and choose the free pick-up option for the Seedy event you will be attending.

Ordering ahead also means that you can skip the line. And, as a little Seedy Event special, for every 5 seed packets ordered ahead you'll be able to choose a free packet at the event.

I will also have a few event-only specials available at the table.

To guarantee pickup:
Regina Seedy Saturday orders must be placed by Friday March 5 at 8 PM
Indian Head Seedy Sunday orders must be placed by Saturday March 14 at 8 PM

Seedy Sale Events are always a wonderful chance to connect with other gardeners and learn something new. Hope to see you there!

We've added two new sweetpeas for 2026 -

Royal Family Pink and Blush & Berry

I make sure to choose long day sweetpea varieties. They perform best in northern areas with our long hours of daylight in the spring and summer.

These new beauties are super fragrant and make beautiful cut flower bouquets.
