I had a bit of a crop failure with my Shell Pink Clarkia last year, so was only able to offer a few packets of seeds. This year they are super bushy and blooming like crazy! Fingers crossed for a good seed harvest. 🤞 Small golden retriever for scale.

Really impressed with the Round of Hungary peppers! I got my pepper plants in fairly late, but these guys each have at least one or two ripe/just about ripe peppers. They are very sweet, thick-walled and juicy. I think they might have replaced Red Belgian as my favourite early-season sweet pepper.

I'm always so excited to find Monarch butterfly caterpillars on the milkweed! In my gardens them seem to prefer the native Showy Milkweed. Maybe coincidence or possibly they prefer the native species?

Potted up a bunch of baby pansies today - these are Antique Laeta. They don't produce very much seed (and it's tricky to collect), so I started many, many more this year. Plus a bunch of new to me varieties. Can't wait for the blooms!
