With our area being filled with Puddingstone rocks, we knew our business needed to have a Puddingstone Roast! Our Puddingstone Blend is a post-roast light-medium-dark blend!

Puddingstones are formed when rounded pebbles—smoothed by long travel in water—are cemented together, often in ancient, high-energy stream beds or shorelines. Found notably in Michigan, Ontario, England and Australia. Famous for white quartz matrix filled with red jasper and black chert pebbles. Sometimes referred to as “lucky stones” by collectors. They are very hard and resistant to weathering, making them popular for landscaping and, when polished, for jewelry or decoration.

Description:
Energetic and thoughtful person to help roast and package coffee in house at St.
Joseph Island Roasters. Weekdays only (9:30 to 5:00 shift).
Will train the right person in all aspects of coffee roasting.

Required Skills:
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Able to lift 6 kgs on a regular basis.
Able to lift 25 kgs occasionally.
Able reach above head.
Able to crouch.
Knowledge of organic and Fair Trade standards an asset (but not required).
Ability to work independently in a very active environment.
Assist drop in customers from time-to-time.
