Not every season goes the way you hope.

This summer our crew headed out for commercial sockeye test fishing off the Fraser River. The returns didn’t line up with what we’d planned for, but that’s exactly why this work matters.

Test fisheries give the Pacific Salmon Commission real-time data on run timing, size and stock composition. Those numbers help managers make informed decisions that protect weaker runs and keep Fraser sockeye healthy for the long haul. 💙

That work also brought in a small amount of beautiful Fraser sockeye. It’s limited, and we’re grateful for every fish. 🐟

2026 Tuna has landed and are they beauties! Troll-caught off the West Coast, one fish, one hook at a time. 🇨🇦

BC Albacore are known for their high omega-3 fatty acids, protein, and of course high-end fatty flavor that makes them as good raw as cooked 🐟

Thanks to Captain Lewis and the fellas on the Viking Girl FV for grinding hard out there this year. We couldn’t do it without the fishers 💙
