Hey Chef, What’s Next: Eat a Beignet 💚

With the recent announcement of Richmond Night Market coming to an end, this is what we’ve got planned so far!

We are Eat a Beignet, a couple duo with a goal to open Cafe Beignet one day! Shane’s daytime job is at Carlino and Michelle’s is at Mott 32, together we created Eat a Beignet 💚 we’ve been at RNM for just 2 years and we are saddened by the news but we’ve got an even bigger project coming up very soon!

Its September!!!! we are open Friday to Monday (including Labour Day) only 3 more weekends left to visit Richmond Night Market and to try our beignets!

You can only order our beignets at the Richmond night market so don’t miss out!

With the recent announcement of Richmond Night Market coming to an end, let’s hear what Auntie Jen’s Pizzeria’s future plans are.

Sierra from Auntie Jen’s Pizzeria has been at the night market for the past two years with a permanent location on Commercial Drive! They serve the best Strombolis in town and if you’ve never tried them, think of it as a rolled up pizza with all the best toppings INSIDE! 🍕 only a few more weeks left before the Richmond Night Market officially closes 🫡

Makito, Kenito and Matthew have been with the Richmond Night Market for 4 years and they started all of this when they were 18! They’ll be here until September 20th at the Richmond Night Market but you can also catch them at their food truck and through their catering service too!

Francis from Bao Buns has been serving up delicious buns topped with ice cream and all the fixings! You can find them at events across Vancouver along with their pop up shop at Guildford Town Center Guildford Town Centre!

With the recent announcement of Richmond Night Market coming to an end, let’s hear what Po Wah has to say!

Chef Lai Wah Yee has been with the Richmond Night Market since Day 1, making this year her 26th year! Po Wah has been serving up classic dim sum for decades with a physical storefront at Crystal Mall back in the day. Big thank you and your family for all the memories and serving up childhood favourites like curry fish balls, chow mein, siu mai and imitation shark fin soup.

of Eat a Beignet before Richmond Night Market closes its doors and holy crap you guys!!

We’ve sold out every single night, it’s been WILD!

So we’ve been prepping more beignets, more homemade dips and fillings and so grateful for everyone who’ve come out to support us. Our hearts are so full and bursting with coffee cream filling 💚

And also thank you to everyone who has been coming up to say hi to us and also our baby beignet that’s currently baking!
