I am making the following due to pre-orders, so I thought of making extras! Everything is available by pre-order only with limited quantities.

Stuffed Pepper Feature: Enjoy 1 green stuffed pepper filled with seasoned rice, diced tomatoes, herbs, and spices, served with a side of oven-roasted potatoes for $10.

Fresh Salads: I will also be making fresh batches of Greek Orzo Salad and authentic (Greek Salad), available in individual servings for $6.00 each.

Classic Trays ( , & Mac & Cheese): I am preparing fresh trays of moussaka, pastitsio, and mac & cheese. I can easily bake a few extra pans, but they must be reserved in advance.

Tomorrow, 27 August, we honour Saint Fanourios with the beautiful tradition of making Fanouropita. This special Greek cake is baked with faith and prayer, often asking Saint Fanourios to help reveal something that is lost, guide us, and bring light into our lives. It is traditionally taken to church to be blessed and then shared with family, friends, and those in need.

Why 9 ingredients?
Fanouropita is traditionally made with 7 or 9 ingredients, numbers that carry spiritual meaning in Orthodox tradition. The number 9 is often linked with the nine orders of angels, which is why many families choose to make the cake with exactly nine ingredients. Recipes can vary from family to family, but the meaning remains the same: simplicity, faith, gratitude, and sharing. 🙏

Traditional 9-ingredient Fanouropita recipe:

3 cups plain flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup fresh orange juice
¾ cup vegetable oil
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
½ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup raisins
Icing sugar for dusting

Method: Mix the orange juice, sugar and oil, then stir in the baking soda and cinnamon. Add the flour gradually, then fold through the walnuts and raisins. Pour into a greased round cake tin and bake at 180°C for about 40–50 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean. Once cooled, dust generously with icing sugar.
