🖤 82 years ago today, time stopped in Distomo, Greece. >
On June 10, 1944, N**i forces committed one of the most chilling atrocities of WWII. In a brutal act of retaliation, SS troops descended upon the innocent village of Distomo.

218 lives were stolen in a single day. Among them were 45 children and 20 infants. Homes were burned to the ground, and unspeakable horrors were inflicted upon pregnant women, babies, and the elderly.

As Greek Minister of National Defence recently stated, keeping this historical truth alive is our minimal duty to future generations—as is the ongoing fight for German reparations and the return of the forced loan.

We must never forget. We must never let the world forget. 🙏🇬🇷
