Taking a look at the goat genetics site and I'm beyond thrilled to see Star sitting at #1 for Type! It’s rewarding to see our breeding program recognized, with several of our does making the Top 25 and two of our bucks breaking into the Top 5.

After careful consideration, I have selected the three bucklings that will be retained this year Kicks, Knight, and Keanu sons. I currently have a limited number of doelings available from my keeper pen.

The barn is feeling a little quieter as most of our kids have headed off to their new homes. It’s always bittersweet to see them go, but I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and temperament of this year’s group. I’m incredibly proud of how they’ve turned out and can’t wait to see what the 2026 show season has in store.

Current status: Outnumbered 33 to 1. We’re halfway through kidding and the garage has officially been converted into a high-occupancy nursery. They’ll be graduating to the baby barn soon, but for now, I’m loving the convenience of garage kids.
