Friends - if a casual, mid-week outing interests you, may we strongly suggest the TEA CREEK screening at Lido on Tuesday, October 6. You won't be disappointed. It's an all ages event and a very affordable and enriching event.
If you feel at all connected to land and food, this is a beautiful opportunity to learn about Indigenous agriculture and a BC Indigenous farmer (Jacob Beaton, Kitwanga). If you've ever been lucky enough to hear Jacob speak before, you know what I mean.
Come prepared not only to enjoy your evening, but enjoy food and sweets from Doig River First Nation's Kekuli Cafe, and a pre-Thanksgiving market from some of the Peace Region Farmers Institute members!
Tickets are available here: https://www.showpass.com/tea-creek-oct-6th-2026/
Doors open at 530, film starts at 630. You can still be in bed before 10PM 😜
