Rosseau General Store Groceries & Provisions since 1874 It was early August and the bell above the door announced a steady seamless chime as people entered.

I remember the first time walking into the store and feeling a good energy all around and a sort of kinship with the shoppers and shopkeepers of years gone by. The original wood floors spoke out by squeaking with every step taken. I could smell the morning baking wafting out of the kitchen. I heard warm and friendly staff greet all patrons as if they were long time friends. We ended our visit with

a sugar cone from the summer store. Little did we know that just 7 months later, my wife and I would own the establishment. Sincerely Brian & Laurie - Shopkeepers

There’s something special about seeing familiar faces walk through the doors again.

The butcher counter is back open, summer has arrived in Rosseau, and this weekend reminded us just how lucky we are to be part of such an incredible community. From warm smiles and friendly conversations to generations of families stopping by the store, it was amazing to see everyone together again.

To all of you who have supported the Rosseau General Store over the years, thank you. Whether you’ve been coming here for decades or this was your very first visit, we’re so grateful to be part of your summer traditions.

We’re excited for the season ahead, and can’t wait to see more of you in the weeks to come. ❤️
