FARM WORK-STAY EXCHANGE: July & August @ Moon Gravity Farm in Rossland

We're looking for a responsible, animal-loving individual or couple to stay at the farm and help out around an hour a day with chores in July and August (dates flexible), includes accommodation and food from the garden.

Also looking for help farm-sitting June 15-22.

About the Farm: Our farm in lower Rossland is home to friendly goats, chickens, and gardens. We also have a small plant nursery and tons of projects to develop the farm as time and energy permits!

Specifically looking for help:
* To feed goats and chickens
* Collect eggs and manage egg sales
* Garden projects if that’s of interest…

We have fertile barnyard mix eggs available if anyone is interested in hatching! Our chickens are dual-purpose, from a mix of heritage breeds, and are excellent foragers who thrive with free-range access. We've been hatching our own eggs from this flock for over 10 years, occasionally introducing new genetics.

The flock includes a mix from Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rocks, Ameraucanas, Chanteclers, and Wyandottes. A dozen eggs will be a random mix of these. I’m motivated to share our flock genetics with anyone who can provide them a good home.
