Three stars from Great Taste 2026. 🌟

Well...four, depending on how you count them, I guess 😅 -- In our first year entering the world's most respected food and drink competition, our Curious Cardamom Bitters earned a 2-star award ("outstanding," in the judges' words), and our Overtly Orange and New Orleans Bywater Bitters each took home a 1-star award.

Over 15,000 products entered from 116 countries, every single one tasted blind. Of the 26 awards presented to Canadian products this year, three came home to Niagara.

Next stop: the UK. Our full lineup arrives this fall with Freed Distribution, launching September 7th in Holland Park, London, with a trade preview for buyers and media at The Belvedere, and a public tasting at the Orangery next door. Free public tickets are limited, and can be picked up at freedfrom.com

We are so excited to share that Bark & Bitter is headed BACK to NYC next month (!) for Drinks With Benefits. We had so much fun last year participating in the city’s first-ever zero-proof festival that we couldn't help but make our way back in 2026, with this year's festival happening on Thursday, September 17th 🗽

If that wasn't enough, in 2026 DWB has announced a brand-new, single-day educational event, the Drinks With Benefits Summit, happening the day before, and featuring talks from cornerstones of the NA industry such as Athletic Brewing, InvestBev, Distill Ventures, and more!

Like last year, it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable day of tasting, chatting, and sipping with 40+ of the finest non-alcoholic brands in the game. What happens when you hand the bartender your own bottle at the bar where the drink was invented?

We just published 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗢𝗿𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀, 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, the story of our week at Tales of the Cocktail 2026 and two drinks we won't forget.

At the Carousel Bar in Hotel Monteleone, where the Vieux Carré was created in 1938, we swapped in both of our bitters: New Orleans Bywater for the Peychaud's, Honestly Aromatic for the Angostura. After nearly two decades of pilgrimages to that rotating bar, this was a dream come true. Then to Jewel of the South, where Chris Hannah's own Bywater cocktail was made for us with the same New Orleans-inspired Bywater Bitters.

A little bit of self-indulgence to cap off a wonderful visit that we'll forever remain grateful for. Thank you, New Orleans!

On our way back to one of our favourite cities in the world! 🎉

Later this month, we're heading to Tales of the Cocktail 2026 in New Orleans — one of the largest annual gatherings of bartenders, cocktail enthusiasts, and drinks brands worldwide.

For nearly 20 years (🤯), we've been visiting New Orleans for Tales, and the event continues to hold a special place in our hearts today: it was the first competition to recognize Novara Aperitivo, with best-in-class wins in both 2022 and 2023 at the New Orleans Spirits Competition.

This year, our full lineup of alcohol-free bitters will be featured all week as part of the Bookstore & Bitters Market at Tales. Founder Nick will also be appearing for a sampling / Q&A as part of "Shots of Inspiration" on Wednesday and Thursday (exact times TBD).

Taking a quick break from an otherwise cold and snowy day in Southern Ontario to daydream about jetsetting off to France in just a few short weeks 😍

With more than 80 No & Low Alcohol exhibitors expected, we're so excited to bring our little bitter brand (including tomorrow's NEW launch) back to Europe for the second edition of Degré Zéro Paris... and possibly sneak in a quick trip to Disneyland while we're there...
