Yes, really. All of them.

Bernese Mountain Dogs may be the honorary guests of the Berner BBQ, but we have no breed restrictions, no size restrictions and no requirement that your dog has ever met a Bernese Mountain Dog.

Big dogs. Little dogs. Fluffy dogs. Short-haired dogs. Dogs with fancy names and dogs who answer only to “HEY, COME BACK HERE.”

Bring them all. ❤️

Our 5th Annual Berner BBQ is happening Sunday, August 30 from noon–4 p.m.

🍖 Southern-style BBQ by Smoke & Moonshine
🎶 Live acoustic music by Michelle Hedley
🍷 Wine on the patio
🐾 Vendors for people and pets, plus Niagara Pet Rescue
🐶 An entire winery lawn full of very good dogs

Admission is FREE and no tickets are required.

All dogs must be well-behaved and on leash. Please bring a water bowl and blanket for your pup.

And if you are coming without a dog? You are welcome, too. There will be plenty of dogs to admire.

On August 30, the Vineyard View lawn at Sue-Ann Staff Estate Winery is going to be very, very full of dogs.

Our 5th Annual Berner BBQ is coming up, and all dogs are welcome! Bring your own pup or come simply to admire the canine population, enjoy some wine, eat some Southern-style BBQ and listen to live acoustic music by Michelle Hedley.

🐶 Bernese Mountain Dogs are the honorary guests, but nobody is checking breed papers at the door.

Jonas has a message. It involves bison, Baco and blueberry jam.

This Sunday, we are putting Canadian bison in a slider, topping it with wild blueberry jam, serving it with kettle chips, and pairing the whole thing with a glass of our 2021 Bank Barn Baco Noir.

Bison & Baco — $18.95 + HST

Come by the winery, grab a seat on the patio, order a Bison & Baco, and stay awhile. The wine is cold, the food is ready, and the winery team is ready.

From September 4–20, 25 Niagara wineries are opening their doors for three weekends of wine, seasonal food pairings and harvest-season deliciousness. Your Discovery Pass lets you visit up to 6 participating wineries on a self-guided tour, with a winemaker-selected wine and seasonal dish at each stop.
