Hydra-65 – Australian IPA @ 6.5% alc/vol

We’re finally back brewing on our pilot brewery, and we have a special one for you!

Hydra-65 is brewed using a new hybrid strain from called Hydra that focuses on terpene biotransformation, specifically using its enzymes to convert dank hop oils into aromatic, citrus-forward compounds. 🍊🍋🍋‍🟩

While attending the annual Craft Beer Conference in April, we got to sample some experimental hops from Australia that are being tested. Our favourite was HPA-065 (not yet named), part of Hop Product Australia’s “Next in Bine” program - and we were fortunate enough to get our hands on some to bring back to New Brunswick. 🇨🇦

The result is a Hazy, Hoppy IPA that that delivers a spice-forward fruit profile of lime, ginger, pineapple, and saffron – a complex combination of flavours. This very unique IPA is only here for a limited time, and only available on tap (or growler fills).🍻
