Black New Zealand buck available. Born February 15, 2026. His mother is my black doe, Beauty. His father is Taco, my red buck who has won Champion Rabbit in 2 shows. This black buck is not show quality because he has flecks of red in his black fur, but he would be a good buck for a meat program. He has good growth, and was 5.3 lbs at 10 weeks. This is my second year growing alfalfa (for the rabbits). I'm impressed with how full it is coming in already this spring! It's a perennial, but I started it from seed last year and it was a little slow starting. Looks like I'll be getting a good harvest this year! Added bonus: it's a nitrogen fixing plant, so helps build the soil.
