Big news from the Shrubbery. The sort that is both wonderful and, regrettably, a little rotten. A dual-edged herring, if you will.
The rotten news: Another Shrubbery will not be attending our usual markets this week. No dancing at the Garrison Night Market , no early mornings at the Kingston Farmers Market , and no laughter beneath the trees at Queen Square Farmers' Market —for us, anyway.
And what terrible calamity could have caused such an event?
Well... the wonderful news is to blame.
Following the tremendous reception at our recent Ren Faire, we have quite simply run out of Shrub. We left with only four large bottles and five minis remaining, which was both absolutely mind-blowing and incredibly humbling.
There was very little more the Shrubbers or the Squires of the Helm could have done to prepare for such a reception. To every customer and merrymaker who wandered through our tent—humans, fae, bards, mercenaries, and all manner of wonderful folk—we offer our sincerest thanks.
You made us feel incredibly welcome, and we had an absolute blast.
So, rather than arrive at market with an empty hedge, the Shrubbers shall be spending this week working hard to replenish the flavours you've enjoyed, along with a few more surprises, naturally.
Thank ye for an unforgettable weekend. We shall see you all next week, with bottles in hand and the hedge restored. 🌿
