In September, our Saint John offices celebrated the start of a new school year with a food truck day featuring delicious meals from the Cooke Food Truck. Employees faced the tough choice between fried haddock and grilled salmon.🍽️🎒

The day also gave the opportunity to support a great local cause, with donations collected for the BGC Greater Saint John. Thanks to the generosity of our team, we raised more than $300 to support the organization and the important work it does for young people across Saint John. 👏

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make the day so meaningful!

As we recognise National Safe Work Month, we’re shining a spotlight on what safety looks like both on & off the water.

Our crews spend more time on the water than most & are often among the first to respond when someone needs help. In 2025, our marine operations supported 14 marine rescues across Tasmania – assisting vessels adrift, responding to distress calls & helping people return home safely.

Whether supporting our own operations or the broader community, our people demonstrate sound judgement, professionalism, care & a willingness to step in when it matters.

That’s Safe by Choice in action – understanding the situation, making good decisions & looking out for each other.

🚧 Update verbouwingen: fase 2 van start!

Een nieuwe mijlpaal in onze verbouwingswerken! ✅
Op maandag 12 oktober wordt het containerdorp officieel opgeleverd. Dit tijdelijke complex zal de komende periode onderdak bieden aan een aantal administratieve diensten en sociale voorzieningen tijdens de verdere renovatiewerken.

In de loop van volgende week verhuizen de betrokken diensten naar hun nieuwe tijdelijke locatie, zodat de werkzaamheden aan ons gebouw veilig en efficiënt kunnen worden verdergezet.

We beseffen dat deze veranderingen een impact hebben op de dagelijkse werking, maar kijken tegelijk uit naar een moderne en toekomstgerichte werkomgeving voor al onze medewerkers.

From egg to plate, there’s a lot that goes into raising Atlantic salmon! 🐟

At the end of September, we welcomed media journalists for a firsthand look at our New Brunswick operations.

We started at the hatchery, travelled to a farm site to learn more with Atlantic Canada Fish Farmers Assoc, and wrapped up at our processing plant to see how our salmon is prepared for families to enjoy.

Seafood farming is a science-based sector, which involves many different people throughout the process who play an important role in coastal communities and Canada’s food system. 🍽️
