We took one for the team and went to visit one of our Ribber crews… purely for important event research, obviously. Very serious business. Clipboard, questions, BBQ sauce on our faces — the whole thing. 😎🔥

The verdict?

This year, Ribfest 506 is proud to showcase and support our charity partner, PALS — PALS - Partners Assisting Local Schools

PALS plays an incredible role in helping local students access learning opportunities, transportation, community experiences, and programs that make a real difference right here in our community. ❤️

Here are just a few recent highlights showing the impact PALS continues to make:

🏁 NB Soap Box Derby kick-offs are complete just in time for “The Derby” on Saturday, June 6th. This program helps students take part in PALS In the Park at Rockwood Park, thanks to the support of community businesses and agencies.

🚌 Kids On the Go has provided transportation for students for more than 700 trips, serving 26 schools this school year.

🎓 En Route to Success wrapped up its high school career learning excursion, helping students explore opportunities and plan for their futures.

At Ribfest 506, we believe great events should do more than bring people together — they should help lift up the community around us. PALS is doing exactly that by supporting students, schools, and families in meaningful ways.
