Starting here at the ranch we will follow scenic valley trails and sand hills descending the valley, crossing Deerhorn Creek, and then climbing back up the valley toward Ste - Madeleine.

I have hitching posts, stalls and pens available on my ranch for your horses while dropping off your trucks and trailers, we can arrange car pooling amongst the club to get back to the ranch, and begin our ride!

😮 Hey Manitobans… wild coincidence here for ya.
You know Kenora, Ontario from those Lake of the Woods weekends, and a lot of you also know Canora, Saskatchewan as the gateway to Good Spirit Lake.
With zero influence on each other, they were named the exact same way, just a year apart:

•In 1904, a local named the new Saskatchewan railway town after the Canadian Northern Railway → CA-NO-RA.

•In 1905, three Ontario communities — Keewatin, Norman, and Rat Portage — merged. Locals hated “Rat Portage” (legend says a flour company refused to print “rat” on their bags), so they took the first two letters → KE-NO-RA.
Same letter trick. Same-sounding name. 1000 kilometres apart.🤯

(I’m actually gonna build one of those directional signs on the ranch… especially since I’m exactly 420 km from the spot where I rock climbed every day back in the day 😂)

Send this to somebody who has been to either place! 📍

We've got beautiful trails throughout our property, surrounded by stunning sand hills, beaches, creeks, rivers, and valleys. We offer horse training, sales, boarding, and riding opportunities through our riding club. Feel free to reach out!
