This week’s Local Business Spotlight is one of those places where you go in for strawberries… and somehow leave with plants, a milkshake, cider and absolutely zero regrets.

We’re talking about Heeman's and if you’ve been, you already know why this place is such a local favourite.

Their freshly picked strawberries are honestly hard to beat 🍓, but there is SO much more to love. Their beautiful greenhouse is packed with plants, flowers and trees, and then there are the treats… strawberry milkshakes, Berries Iced Coffee and plenty of other reasons to make “just a quick stop” last a little longer. 😂

And don’t skip Heeman’s Cellar! Their locally made ciders are absolutely worth trying and just another reason this place has something for pretty much everyone.

Amazing local products, an incredible selection, and genuinely awesome people working there, Heeman’s is one of those places we’re lucky to have right here in our community.

💀 Until another car decided our engine looked like a perfectly good landing spot.

Safe to say the Jumbo car left it ALL on the track at the Aylmer Fair Demolition Derby.

This week’s Local Business Spotlight is extra personal because we’re HUGE fans of Renee’s Sandwich Shop 🥪🧡

If you ask us where to grab lunch in London, this is going to be one of our first answers. Fresh bread, incredible toppings, sandwiches absolutely LOADED with flavour, and some of the nicest people behind the counter, Renee’s just gets it.

My personal order? Turkey Brie or the Mango Mafia 🤌 Sweet, spicy, creamy, fresh… genuinely one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had.

But that’s the beauty of Renee’s, whether you like to keep it classic or pile on something a little more adventurous, there’s something for pretty much everyone.

Amazing food. Amazing people. Local through and through.

Fady tried & failed miserably. Travis showed up, fixed the leaking shower faucet, and (most importantly) kept the judgment to himself.

Because at Jumbo, we’ve seen enough DIY plumbing to know one thing: sometimes the best tool in your toolbox is our phone number. 😅
