These pigs didn’t keep up with their freshly seeded pasture this year but now they have lots of fresh stuff to graze on in the fall. Their diet has been 25% pellets and the rest apples, garden scraps and their giant pasture seeded with rye, peas, wheat, clover, sunflowers and some pumpkins.

The crappy part of farming….

The weasel/mink got two of my silkies this afternoon so Jamie has been sitting in the pen waiting for him to come back out of his den so he can kill the stupid thing. Looks like he going to play the long game because the rat traps hitting him didn’t seem to phase him at all. 8 meat birds lost in total and 2 silkie hens. All during the day.

We have a new product coming very soon! 🔥 🌶️

We are looking to sell our whole bantam flock as a group. We have 2 pure Silkie roosters, 5-10 pure Silkie hens, lots of mixed bantams in both sexes. Age ranging from 3 weeks old to 3-4 years old.

Message me for pricing, this would make a great starter flock for anyone who loves little birds with big character!
