Aspen, our gentle farm milk cow, is getting closer and closer to her calving day, and we’re doing everything we can to make her feel loved and comfortable.
These days, she’s spoiled with lots of her favourite treats and extra cuddles, and mornings are truly special when we whistle to her and say good morning—she responds with the sweetest, gentle "Good Morning Moo."
We’re all eagerly awaiting the arrival of her new little calf, and while we’re not sure of the exact date, many of us are guessing it will be sometime within the next week.
We can’t wait to welcome this new life to our farm!

Giving pigs fresh vegetables is a wonderful way to enhance their diet and promote their health. Pigs are omnivorous animals that thrive on a varied diet, and incorporating fresh vegetables provides essential vitamins, minerals, and fiber that support their digestion and overall well-being. When offering vegetables, it's important to choose a variety of safe options like carrots, cucumbers, leafy greens, and bell peppers, and to wash them thoroughly to remove dirt and pesticides. Fresh vegetables should be given in moderation to prevent digestive upset and should complement a balanced diet that includes grains and other nutrients. Regularly providing pigs with fresh vegetables not only helps keep them healthy but also enriches their environment, making mealtime more engaging and enjoyable for these intelligent animals.
