This is Royal Velvet, one of our English lavender varieties.

After harvesting and drying, the lavender is carefully winnowed to separate the florets from the chaff. We save those beautiful little florets for use in our culinary products.

Welcome to lavender paradise. 💜

We can hardly believe it’s already the end of July here on the farm.

This summer has brought us so much joy. We’ve welcomed visitors from around the world, shared countless conversations, and made so many new friends along the way.

The fields are still looking beautiful, the shop is full of all your lavender favourites, and we’d love to welcome you if you’re planning a visit to Salt Spring Island.

Lavender is for lovers.

We spotted these three early this morning in the lower fields.

One of the things we love most about growing lavender is that deer don’t eat it. Instead, they wander peacefully through the farm, making mornings like this feel a little extra magical.

The fields are now beautifully purple and the farm is in full bloom. If you’ve been thinking about a visit, now is the perfect time to come wander, breathe in the fragrance, and experience the magic for yourself.

The very first harvest of the year is now hanging in our drying room! 💜 This is Folgate, one of our English lavender varieties.

About one-third of our harvest is carefully dried for bouquets, culinary products, and other lavender goods, while the remaining two-thirds is distilled into our well-loved organic essential oil.

Come visit the farm, and be sure to step into the drying room… the scent is absolutely incredible.
