The evolution of the farmstand✨

The farmstand has always been such a special part of the farm. It started out in the early 2000s, with Jen and Liz running a CSA box program. Eventually, they began selling all their veggies on a small table right on the farm, as well as at the market. Now, it has grown into what is almost a little store, complete with a helper behind the counter!

During COVID, we were able to start our own line of organic products, including salad dressings, pestos, hummus, and other snacks. More recently, we’ve added farm merch and some amazing locally made products from .ssi

Big shoutout to for continuing to renovate and make the farmstand be the way it is today!

We are open:

12-6 Mon-Thurs
10-6 Fri-Sun

Our salad mix from field to farmstand 🌱🥗

Harvest days are a fine-tuned routine around here, especially with our most popular seller - the salad mix! Here’s a look at the steps we take to get it washed, packed, and ready for the farmstand.
We’ve especially been loving the mini gem, salanova variety, it’s been making the mix extra good these days.

Our Camas on the farm 💜

Camas are such special plants, with a deep history on these lands. This year our camas meadow has really thrived and it has been so exciting to see. Our honey bees and bumble bees love it too!

Camas is a cultural keystone species in the Salish Sea and has nourished Indigenous communities since deep time with its carbohydrate rich bulbs. Camas patches like this one on the farm are the remnants of ancient Indigenous food systems that were tended by families through propagation, weeding, burning and fertilization.

The loss of Indigenous stewardship of these food systems along with browsing by hyperabundant deer, invasion by non-native plants, urban and rural development, including colonial agriculture, has resulted in camas becoming increasingly rare.

As one of the most culturally important plants in the Salish Sea region, it makes us very grateful to be able to steward a small patch of camas here on the farm.
