What a wonderful year in the woods, harvesting and preserving nature's bounty. The mild weather sure was a treat. Pines and blues and boletes galore this year! After such a fruitfall Fall, the morel season already feels like ages ago.

Happy Solstice!

It's morel mushroom season-- and this is what we call a great year! Nestled on a quiet side road in the fire scarred forest somewhere in BC's interior. The crew is hard at work harvesting quality, clean morels maintaining our high standards. Rookies are reaching high-baller status and high-ballers are smashing personal bests. The conica morel carpets are shifting to blonde and grey morel territory.

Buying and drying tens of thousands of pounds of mushrooms in the bush is no easy feat, especially with the 'Junuary' weather. Late nights, early mornings and overnight wood stove shifts.

As we like to say, every night is Friday night and every morning is Monday morning losing track of the days doing what we love to do!
