If you love peonies, grab one of the last spots in the Parisian Peonies or Peony Atelier workshops! The peonies are blooming and on Sunday we harvested the first buckets of peonies! The floral studio is being cleaned and prepped to host the first of our workshops. Next week we kickoff peony season with our sold out bespoke English Garden Peonies Workshops. If you want to spend an evening at the farm, learning all about peonies, designing your own arrangements with the help of our peony expertise, then don’t miss out and book one of the few remaining spots for the Parisian Peonies or Peony Atelier workshops. Peony season has arrived at our Farm! After a long winter, and a May snowstorm, we have super healthy and happy peonies! Are you booked yet to visit us this peony season? If not, there are still a few spots open in some workshops. Cheers to peony season on the prairies!

I think the storm is my fault, I kicked the tractor out of the floral studio. It stays in it all winter to be heated and easily start for blowing snow. But, I was itching for my plants to get inside it and to clean and prep for workshops!

Winter will end right? Soon?

I know it’s hard to imagine right now, but given they have had more than enough chill hours, and will have great moisture, we are only 50 days away from the first peony blooms at the Farm! We have a few spots left in some of the workshops, get yours now and I promise spring will actually come! And with it, we will be bursting with peonies!

Soon the snow will be fully gone, and little peony buds will pop up, leading to armloads of stunning blooms. We can’t wait to share them with you this peony season!

I’m ready for winter to be done, and spring peonies to start poking out of the ground. They have lots of snow, so should have well rested and happy roots come spring, with good moisture for the gardens. And then bring on the blooms!
