For those of you that I used Thor on this spring/summer..as you know he’s my go to bull especially for heifers! This is the working farm, with great genetic cows that he comes from. They have show type cows that go home and put their work clothes on and milk!!

Just a reminder to those whom I’m AI’ing for..many of you we are doing August breedings..let’s keep a close eye for heats as I will be gone a few weeks in September when my daughter visits..not the whole two weeks in a row but let’s try get them done before I’m gone. Aiming for Seot7-21st going on trips. Also please remind me if you’ve had two missed cycles for preg checks if I’m in your area. So…over the last few years, I neglected this page because I’ve been busy! Now I have some more time on my hands due to just being home..still busy but that’s ok!! So I’m going to try post a tip a week plus update on the homesteader cows I have. As you all know homesteading isn’t just cows! I’ve also been busy improving my meat rabbit herd and hatching my bym chickens! I did down size the sheep but have kept the cream of the crop and look forward to that new phase!! Stay tuned for the sheep!
