Behind every Boreal Heartland product is a harvester out in the bush, on their family trapline, doing what their family has always done. Boreal Heartland was built to support that. Indigenous-owned and based in Air Ronge, SK, they work with harvesters from communities across the north every summer to bring the best of the boreal forest to you 🫖

We're proud to carry their teas, foraged spices, and dried muhsrooms at SaskMade this June and always.

If dill pickles and sauerkraut had a baby, this would be it.

Cucumbers go right into the fermentation process, turning into pickles alongside the kraut, and the result is something you really have to taste to believe. A favourite with kids and adults alike, this one is perfect if you know you should be eating more fermented foods but haven't found one you actually crave. If you try this, you'll start finding reasons to eat it 😜

Bison Ridge Farms bison burgers are made for summer grilling.

Raised along the North Saskatchewan River on family land shaped by regenerative grazing, the herd is managed with a focus on soil health, diverse pasture, and working with the land rather than against it. Made in small batches in Denare Beach at the edge of the boreal forest, this is a condiment built from what’s actually around them—local ingredients, local people, and a place that shows up in every jar. It’s women-owned, community-rooted, and made to be versatile.

Stir it into a glaze, spread it on a board, whisk it into dressing, or use it straight!

Created by Heidi using wildcrafted and naturally sourced ingredients, many of the plants, flowers, and mushrooms in her small-batch skincare products are foraged near Emma Lake. If you’ve spent summers there, you know the feeling, quiet mornings, pine trees, fresh air, and slowing down for a while.

Her products are rooted in that same connection to nature and simple everyday care. Thoughtful, handmade, and inspired by the land around us.

was born in 2020 out of a frustration with the spice blends already on shelves — full of artificial ingredients, way too much salt, and not enough actual flavour. Travis cut the salt in half and got rid of everything unnecessary!

Saskatoon berry bath & body made right here in Saskatchewan 🫐

The Sask Bath Company started because Claire could not find a single cream, soap or lotion that did not irritate her NICU baby's sensitive skin. So she made her own. Using her background as a herbalist and locally available ingredients, she formulated products gentle enough for her son. A few years later that same approach expanded into a full line of adult skincare and bath products too!
