First day of school throwbacks 📚🍎

The weather didn’t get the memo, but the calendar tells us that summer is coming to an end and another school year is about to begin.

We love looking back through old photos and sharing memories around these important dates. Somehow, these moments always remind us just how quickly the years go by.

Wishing all of our farm friends, little ones, parents, teachers and school staff an easy transition into the new school year. Here’s to new routines, new adventures and making lots of memories along the way. ❤️

We got off the farm this weekend and escaped to the shores of Georgian Bay. 🌊

A little getaway with the two youngest, some fresh air, and a break from the endless woulda, shoulda, coulda’s of farm life.

Over the years, we’ve learned that we need to get a solid two hours away from the farm before I can actually relax. Anything closer and I’m guaranteed to say, “I’ll just run back quick and do this one thing…” somewhere in the middle of our vacation 😂

So we went far enough away that running back to the farm wasn’t really an option.

Soaking up these last little bookends of summer before the busy season kicks into full gear. 🌊☀️ The farm will still be there when we get home. ❤️
