We are very excited to be part of Ontario’s Maple Weekend. A few things to consider before you visit this weekend. With the recent snowfall, conditions are muddy and may be slippery, especially on the trails, so please bring appropriate footwear if you plan on hiking the sugar bush.

This year, we have a longer, 3 km trail where you can visit remnants of an old sugar camp and a potash rock kiln from the early 1900s, or do a shorter 1.5 km loop through the sugar bush before returning to the camp. Dogs are welcome on the trails, but we ask that you please keep them leashed while around the sugar camp and play area.

A small play area is available for the kids with a pipeline demonstration and other small games to keep them entertained. Spend some time sitting around the campfire enjoying the spring weather and roasting marshmallows.

Cota's Mobile Catering & Bar-B-Que and the Cardinal Café + Shop will be on site serving up delicious treats all weekend, come hungry and thirsty!

Our friends from Frontenac Blades will be here, weather and availability permitting, you’ll be able to try your hand at axe throwing while they’re here.

Step inside to see our evaporator and sugar camp where everything maple will be available for purchase.

Head to Sharbot Lake on April 6 and 7, 2024 to visit Conboy Maple Syrup for free samples, sugarbush tours, and learn how maple syrup is produced from tree to bottle.

Conboy Maple Syrup is a true family operation - George and Darlene Conboy have been working on their 5,000 tap maple sugarbush and farm for 45 years. Stop by to chat with them about their operation and pick up a bottle of the new crop of maple syrup.
