Our third Field to Fork evening of 2026 was another beautiful reminder of why we love doing this.

Guests began the evening with a field tour, learning about our farming practices and getting their hands in the soil to harvest vegetables. There’s something pretty special about seeing where your food comes from and then sitting down together to enjoy it just hours later.

The team from O’ Live Your Life Inspired Living took the vegetables grown here at Lennox Farm and transformed them into an incredible meal, celebrating the flavour, freshness and simplicity of good food grown close to home. Musician Sohayla Smith created the perfect ambiance for the evening with her beautiful music.

Field to Fork is about more than dinner. It’s about connecting people to the land, to farmers, to cooks, to local food, and to each other. Thank you to everyone who joined us for our event. We’re so grateful to share our farm, our food, and this experience with you.

Today’s farm harvest - purple, orange and green cauliflower and purple broccoli. The colour of these vegetables provides clues about flavour and nutrients. These beauties are filled with fiber, anthocyanins, beta-carotene, and vitamin C. Same vegetable, different pigments, different plant compounds. A truly beautiful rainbow of flavours!

We don’t just grow vegetables!! We feed our soil as well. This is a pea, barley and oat mixture cover crop. We are mowing this to feed the soil and microbes which live in it. This field is also where we spread our biochar experiment and the numbers coming in far are mind blowing. I’m looking forward to seeing the difference when we plant out in a few years.
