What a day! A HUGE thank you to the vendors, musicians, foodies, visitors, shoppers, and downtown merchants who supported this years Windsor Garlic Fest!
This festival is proudly owned and operated by the West Hants Regional Municipality, and our Community Development team once again gave it their all to bring this year’s festival to life.
And the festival has grown again! This year, we welcomed 130 vendors to downtown Windsor. We are honoured by the continued support for this festival and proud to provide an event that celebrates our farmers, producers, artists, makers, small businesses, and community.
Mother Nature smiled upon us, and from start to finish, downtown Windsor was filled with great food, music, laughter, shopping, and, of course, GARLIC!
There are so many people who helped make the day a success. A special thank you to:
🧄 Chef Paul Thimot
🧄 Musicians Bluegrass Tradition
🧄 Musicians Kristin Cavoukian & Ivan Rosenberg
🧄 Musicians Zakary Miller and the Yodelayhee Few
🧄 Dynamite Security
🧄 West Hants Ground Search and Rescue
🧄 The Avon Chamber of Commerce and Windsor Township Business Association for sponsoring and
judging our artisans.
🧄 Our wonderful mascots, who kept everyone dancing in the street and doing the Garlic Macarena -
Mary Kulik, Susan Carey, Tasha Levy, Grace Schofield, Heather Garrison.
🧄 Aunt Lisa’s Ice Cream Parlour for providing a music stage and rest area.
🧄 Mantua Country Store for making the garlic and ginger ice cream.
🧄 R & D Dunham Enterprises for providing the accessible parking lot.
🧄 Lily Isenor and Jack Isenor for coming to all our events and giving a helping hand.
🧄 Mark Davidson, New Trails Out There — photographer extraordinaire! Thank you for capturing such
incredible images of the day.
And finally, to everyone who came downtown and supported the Windsor Garlic Fest — THANK YOU!
Every purchase from a vendor, every meal enjoyed, every downtown business visited, and every smiling face helps make this festival what it is.
We appreciate your support more than you know. Until next year…keep loving garlic!
