I had fun today with my new plants I bought for Fancy B (btw I finally named this betta Fancy B ) some Java ferns and an Anubias plant and some Taiwan Moss real fancy looking tank for the Fancy B

To help my lil candy koi feel more relaxed and comfortable with his new tank I put in an almond leaf and the new filter blocker he seems much more happy and is no longer glass surfing.

So here’s an interesting little hack to combat the flow of an HOB filter in your tank. I grabbed a sink sponge holder filled it with marbles and as the water is falling into the basket it gets “filtered” through the marbles and then basket which blocks the flow substantially and makes the water still. My betta is swimming up to it without any force from the water and that will allow him to make a bubble nest and allow him to swim more freely!

Hey everyone! We did a lot of upgrades and got a few new members! New hardscapes, new bubblers. Moved some plants. We now have 7 serpae tetras 3 Venezuelan Cory Doras, 2 Bolivian Ram Cichlids, a bristlenose Pleco 2 Nerite Snails and 1 black Devil Snail. We got two more new tanks a 5G and a 10G. The 5G has a rose petal Betta and in the 10G we have the candy koi plakat betta!!

Changed the tank up today. Had a visit to Big Als in Hamilton and acquired new hard scapes. Tetras are loving the new scape. After looking after this tank for 3months I love the progress. Plants are healthy. Learning the types more. Learning light scheduling. Learned how the filter works in this tank.(however with the new driftwood am curious how the flow will operate) my Cory’s love finding new places to explore and have been utilizing the bottom of the driftwood. The snail has definitely increased his hiding skill xD haven’t seen him since we put this in. He must be enjoying himself.(I hope).

We added a new plant today! Two new decorations! Do you see the Death Star?

Also started to put in Liquid Fertilizer, Flourish Excel from Seachem. I will be monitoring to see if the plants do any better and can help fix my melting problem.

Hey everyone! My 30G tank is now established! And we have new friends!! Meet my Venezuelan Cory, and my Bristlenose Pleco! These guys are amazing algae eaters! They keep my tank relatively clean and live together very peacefully. There’s also a Black Devil snail 🐌 somewhere in here. we named him Vader and he is a very quick snail. Made a mess of the tank but he does a good job working. This tank is lightly planted for now, but I am working on continuing to plant more to make it more full. I am going to keep you all more updated with the new things I try out and show you our progress

Good day everyone!
The coffee is brewing and the ideas are flowing. Tanks are clearing up and today I will be making another video more about what C&F Aqualiving Means and giving some shoutouts to the ones who inspired me into starting this journey.
