BULL RIDING: THE KING OF RODEO 🐂

Think you've seen grit? Watch our cowboys ride high aboard a 2,000 lb bucking bull. The most thrilling and most dangerous 8 seconds in sport. Are you ready?

Here's how it works: the cowboy lowers himself onto the bull in the chute, wraps a flat braided rope around his riding hand and nods his head. That's the signal. The gate flies open and all you-know-what breaks loose.💥

From that moment, the clock starts. The rider must stay on for 8 full seconds using only ONE hand. The other must stay in the air and never touch the bull or his own body. If it does, he's disqualified. Both the cowboy AND the bull are scored by judges, meaning the rankest, most unpredictable bulls actually help a rider score higher. It's the ultimate partnership between man and beast, whether they like it or not.

The riders who make it look effortless have spent a lifetime perfecting their craft. The ones who don't? Well, that's what the rodeo clowns are there for, and trust us, their job is no joke.
This is the event that gets everyone on their feet, first-timers and rodeo veterans alike. You simply cannot watch bull riding and sit still!

🌍 Happy Earth Day from the Norfolk Pro Rodeo!

Work is underway to get the ranch ready for July, and part of the preparations includes planting 100 trees around the property for Earth Day! 🌱🌲

These trees will help offset our carbon footprint and in a few years, provide some well-earned shade for our guests and animals alike. Every tree counts!

We can't wait to see you at the Rodeo this summer. 🤠
